work experience at:
Pepe Jeans London
My name is Cristina Dorda, and I am a fashion and graphic designer for 5 years. I'm creative, detail-oriented and work well as a team member.
My specialty is outerwear, dresses and bottoms design in woven and circular knit. I am passionate about helping your brand innovate and diversify your selection of apparel. How? Staying on top of the latest fashion shows and social media trendsetters, picking up on fresh details, finding economic, high-quality fabrics, and rethinking the design and production process—all to create a product tailored to my customer's needs.
In addition to sharing my innovative approach with your creative team, I also enjoy sharing my love for fashion. For this reason, I'm currently working on a YouTube series to pass on my knowledge to aspiring designers, drawing upon my previous experience as a course assistant. I'm eager to gain further classroom experience and available for workshops or talks about prints design (woven, all-over prints, etc), software for fashion designers (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc) and fashion illustration (textures, human figure, etc).
The first time I saw someone wearing one of my designs was one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had. I was sitting on my couch at home, watching Master Chef Spain. The TV host was wearing a kimono with a floral motif that I designed at Lavand. In that moment I realized the impact my art had on other people. It was incredible, understanding that I had helped someone to communicate something unique about herself.
